Hayden wrestling takes 6th overall at Eagle Valley Invitational

STEAMBOAT SPRINGS — The Hayden High School wrestling team put together several top finishes at the 2019 Eagle Valley Invitational in Gypsum to claim sixth place overall out of 22 teams.

Dylan Zimmerman, 113, and Hunter Planansky, 182, placed first in their weight classes. Kyler Campbell, 106, and Daylon Frentress, 120, each claimed third place while Hunter Hatcher, 195, came in fourth.

Highlighting the JV tournament was Tigers wrestler Kale Johnson, 106, who placed third.

The Tigers will next travel to Utah for the Tournament of Champions.
