Hayden Town Council to consider slight water rate increase

Matt Stensland

— The Hayden Town Council will meet Thursday night and consider a slight increase to water rates.

The town’s staff members will deliver their reports to the council beginning at 7 p.m. The regular meeting will begin at 7:30 p.m.

Town Manager Dave Torgler said the proposed water rate increase would mean residential and commercial customers would pay about $1.45 more each month.

Also during the meeting, the town will consider hiring a water attorney to take the town’s new water augmentation plan through water court.
