Hayden to host community meetings about new school

As the planning process begins for new PK-12 school facilities in Hayden, two community meetings will be held next week.

An open house will be held from 6 to 7:30 p.m. Monday, Aug. 20 in the Hayden Elementary School cafeteria to share and discuss information about the design process for the new school. Representatives from the design committee, the architectural firm and the construction company will be in attendance.

A meet and greet, hosted by Adolfson & Peterson Construction, will be held from 4 to 7 p.m. Wednesday, Aug. 22 at Yampa Valley Brewing Company. Subcontractors and suppliers interested in providing services for the $44 million school project are encouraged to attend.
