Hayden to consider agreement with Triple Crown
Steamboat Springs — The Hayden Town Council on Thursday during its regularly scheduled meeting will consider an agreement with Triple Crown Sports, which hosts tournaments on the town’s ballfields.
Town staff members will deliver their reports to council members beginning at 7 p.m. The regular meeting will start at 7:30 p.m.
Among other items, the council will consider renewing an agreement that has been in place with Triple Crown. It again will require Triple Crown to pay the town $4,000 this year for use of the fields. According to a town staff report, Triple Crown also has offered training to town employees in Fort Collins to teach them on how to maintain the ballfields.
“The recreation coordinator has built a great working relationship with Triple Crown to the benefit of both the Town of Hayden and Triple Crown Sports,” the staff reports states.
