Hayden home burglarized

Nick Foster

A Hayden resident’s home was burglarized late Friday or early Saturday. Two windows were broken and $60 in cash was taken.

The homeowner left his home at Meadow Village Trailer Park, 1100 W. Jefferson Ave., about 11 p.m. Friday, Hayden Police Officer Darin Falk said. When the man returned about 2:30 a.m. Saturday, he found his belongings strewn around the trailer and the windows broken, Falk said.

The burglar apparently broke through one window to get in, found a locked room door, went back outside and broke another window to get into the locked room, Falk said.

“I’m not sure why they didn’t get away with anything (besides the $60),” Falk said.

Hayden Police are investigating the crime and should have more details soon, Falk said.
