Hayden football looks for upset at Middle Park

Joel Reichenberger

— Hayden struggled mightily early this season to manufacture points, averaging only eight in the team’s two losses. The Tigers will have to figure it out quickly if they’re to pull off an upset on the road at Middle Park. The Panthers have scored with ease this season, averaging 46 points in their first three games. At the same time, they’ve been ferocious on defense, not allowing any opponent more than one touchdown.

Hayden’s inexperienced skill players — the majority are underclassmen — will have to mature quickly if the Tigers are to even their record.
