Harvest Skis in running for outdoor award

STEAMBOAT SPRINGS — Steamboat Springs-based Harvest Skis is one of 13 businesses contending for the 2019 Wright Award, which recognizes businesses that have been inspired by the outdoors.

The three-day Wright summit, which is put on by Something Independent, is April 30 to May 2 in Golden and showcases the culture of the outdoor industry.

In addition to Harvest, other companies being honored include Down River Equipment of Wheat Ridge, Feral of Denver and Idaho Springs, First Ascent Coffee Roasters of Crested Butte, Holidaily Brewing Co. of Golden, Mountain Careers of Vail, Oveja Negra of Salida, RockyMounts of Boulder and Grand Junction, Root Shoot Malting of Loveland, SoGnar Creative Division of Denver, Tailwind Nutrition of Durango, NoSo of Jackson, Wyoming, and Jelt of Bozeman, Montana.
