n A support group for parents of children with attention-deficit/hyperactivity disorder and similar conditions meets at 6 p.m. at Yampa Valley Medical Center, Conference Room 1. Call 871-1678.

n Santa Claus will visit children’s story hour at 10 a.m. at the Hayden Public Library. Call 276-3777.

n The season’s first Town Challenge ski race, the Smokehouse Cup giant slalom, begins with registration from 5 to 6:30 p.m. in the Fireside Room in Olympian Hall; races start at 7 p.m. at Howelsen Hill. Call 879-0695, ext. 104.

n Hahn’s Peak Cafe hosts an acoustic jam/open mic night beginning at 7 p.m. Call 871-1495.

FRIDAY

n Santa Claus will visit Community First Bank from 3 to 6 p.m., sponsored by the Downtown Business Association. Music will be provided by flutist Chole Banning. Call 870-6778.

n Hayden’s senior Tour of Lights begins at 6 p.m., meeting at Hayden Town Hall. Call 276-3741 in advance to sign up.

n Santa Claus visits Oak Creek from 6 to 9 p.m. at the new Town Hall. There will be free hot cider and hot chocolate, sponsored by the Oak Creek Fire District.
