Greg Koehle: Thanks, everyone
March 16, 2004
On March 6, we lost a very dear family member, Ron Koehler, and we would like to express our sincere gratitude, appreciation and thanks to all the special people involved.
The ambulance crew and police who responded so quickly were so helpful and concerned on that fateful Thursday night. The emergency room personnel were all very concerned and caring. And the nurses and doctors did everything possible during his last week of life to keep him as comfortable and painless as possible.
The nurses applied their own special touches to try to keep him as comfortable and painless as possible. The nurses are truly special and are very dedicated to patient care.
The doctors, Lambert Orton and Mark McCaulley, were enormously helpful in his care, and, I believe, always concerned. The case worker, Jane Howell, did a great job in keeping us informed as to what to expect and what to do. She is a huge asset to the Yampa Valley Medical Center.
We are so fortunate to live in a community with such a wonderful health-care facility and, mostly, all the personnel who manage and operate it. We never felt like just another number or just another patient.
Secondly and just as important, we would also like to express our deep appreciation for all the cards, letters and flowers. The sympathy, caring and support that our friends and community have extended to us have been so helpful during this difficult time. We are truly fortunate and blessed to live in this community. To everyone who was so helpful and supportive, our heartfelt and sincere thanks.
