Grants Collective initiative launched in Northwest Colorado
The Northwest Colorado Development Council and the Yampa Valley Community Foundation have launched an initiative to increase grant writing and management capacity for regional nonprofits, local governments and businesses interested in hiring grant writers.
The initiative, called the Grants Collective, comprises a network of grant professionals who develop proposals for federal, state, and local grants.
“One of the biggest challenges identified by our communities, businesses and nonprofits is the need for grant writers and managers to secure more funding for our region,” said Tim Redmond, the chair of the Northwest Colorado Development Council Chair and a Routt County Commissioner in a statement.
“The Northwest Colorado Development Council is proud to launch this database in partnership with Yampa Valley Community Foundation to enhance efforts to bring more funding into Northwest Colorado,” he added.
