The Steamboat Pilot & Today presented a check for $1,422 to the UCHealth Gloria Gossard Breast Care Center on Wednesday, Dec. 18.

Money for the donation was raised through the newspaper’s annual Pink Edition, which was published during Breast Cancer Awareness Month in October.

Present for the presentation from Pilot & Today Publisher Bonnie Stewart were Sanaya Sturm, a nurse manager for multiple UCHealth programs; Soniya Fidler, president of UCHealth Yampa Valley Medical Center; and Yampa Valley Medical Center Foundation Executive Director Karen Schneider.
