Featured volunteer opportunity
- LiftUp of Routt County has urgent opportunities to volunteer in the food bank, donation center and thrift store. The tasks range from organizing products, assisting customers, sorting donations and picking produce. Email volunteer@liftuprc.org.
Time-sensitive volunteer opportunities
- Yampatika needs volunteers to support the naturalist outdoor education programs. No experience or environmental credentials required. Volunteer training is provided on Dec. 3rd or 5th, and volunteer sign-ups can be found at yampatika.org.
- Northwest Colorado Health needs volunteers to donate soups and baked goods for the Celebration of Light event from 5 to 7p.m. Dec. 6 at the Rollingstone Respite House. Please contact Kyleigh Lawyer at 970-871-7609 or klawyer@northwestcoloradohealth.org.
- Routt County United Way is organizing bell ringing over the holidays to raise money for health and crisis services for programs in Routt County.. - Routt County Humane Society has urgent needs for dog walkers and kennel cleaners, morning and weekend hours. Visit routthumane.org to apply for volunteer openings.
- Young Tracks Preschool and Childcare Center needs volunteers to help with interior facility cleaning. Quarterly deep cleanings will include scrubbing walls, chairs and tables. This can be a group project for up to 6 people and is suitable for youth and adult volunteers. Call Kim at 970-879-5790.
