Free home-buying class starts Feb. 25
The Women United arm of United Way of the Yampa Valley will host a free “Home Buying 101” class starting Feb. 25 to help residents learn how to prepare, work through the process and finalize buying a home.
The class sponsored by Colorado Mountain College – Steamboat will be taught be well-respected Steamboat Springs home mortgage broker Kathryn Pedersen, a Colorado native with more than 25 years of lending experience in all facets of the mortgage industry.
Space for the three-evening class is limited, and reservations are required in advance at: UnitedWayoftheYampaValley.org/women-united.
The classes are scheduled for 6-7:30 p.m. Feb. 25 and March 11 and 18 at the college.
Dinner is included at 5 p.m. each evening, and childcare is available upon request with advance notice.
