Four Soroco wrestlers win in Rangely

Four Soroco wrestlers won their weight classes Saturday at the Rangely Invitational. The top finishes helped Soroco to a sixth-place finish in the 13-team tournament. Justin Iacovetto (103-pound class), Levi Gonzales (125), Joel Schlegel (130) and Dennis Morgan (189) won their weight classes, Soroco coach Doug Gates said.

The wins maintain Iacovetto’s, Morgan’s and Schlegel’s current standings as the state’s No. 1-, 2- and 3-ranked wrestlers, respectively, in their weight classes in Class 2A, according to On The Mat Rankings.
