Florence Adeline Lusby

1908-2001

Florence Adeline Lusby passed away in Steamboat Springs April 24, 2001. She was 92.

Florence was born June 19, 1908 on a farm in Pettis County and lived in Missouri most of her life. The former Florence Long married Odra E. Lusby July 4, 1930. For 23 years, she worked as a sales clerk at Montgomery Ward & Co. Her principle occupation, however, was as a wife and mother. Her hobby was crocheting.

Mrs. Lusby is survived by a daughter, Joann Lusby Thompson of Steamboat Springs, a son-in-law, James E. Thompson; four grandchildren, Leslie Seibert, Lisa Hise, John Clayton Dods and Joan Dods Folloni and eight-great grandchildren.



She is preceded in death by her husband and a daughter, Barbara Lusby Hise.
