Firefighters contain wildfire

Steamboat Springs Fire Rescue firefighters work at a wildfire Tuesday at the base of Thorpe Mountain along Routt County Road 14A. Routt County Emergency Management Director Bob Struble said landowners were clearing out piles of dead wood and brush with a controlled burn Tuesday morning, and the fire got out of control in the afternoon.
