With a successful election, the city will investigate avenues to distribute an estimated $1.86 million, which is currently used to support fire and emergency medical services.

As the city discusses its 2019 budget, staff is working to address a significant gap in funding for current services enjoyed by residents. The fire/emergency services funding offset topic is scheduled to come before City Council during its Sept. 18 and Oct. 9 meetings. The city budget is slated for council review during an all-day budget retreat Oct. 2.

No RSVP is necessary to attend Coffee with Council. Coffee and light refreshments will be provided.
