Fire burns 15 acres south of Hayden

A fire discovered Friday evening has burned about 15 acres south of Hayden.
The Hayden Gulch Fire is burning mostly on land managed by the Bureau of Land Management northeast of Routt County Roads 29 and 53.
West Routt Fire Protection District firefighter Kyle McCoy said the fire is not in their district, but it is in their response area.
On Saturday, West Routt sent a crew of three people to the fire to help BLM firefighters.
The fire is burning in grass, brush and oak brush.
Aircraft was used Friday night to size up the fire.
