Explore’s Top 5 events Nov. 6 to Nov. 8
Steamboat Springs — The first few flakes of snow have fallen, and the ski season is almost here. As you anxiously await opening day, take part in a few of Explore Steamboat’s Top Five Events this weekend.
The Yampa Valley Singers “The Bright Side of the Holidays” concert
Selections for the concert include Mendelssohn’s “How Lovely Are the Messengers,” “The Tree of Peace, Inscription of Hope,” as well as many familiar pieces and an early start to the holiday season with well-known Christmas carols. $10 tickets are available from any of the singers and from All That. If performances are not sold out, tickets will be sold at the door.

Super Fun Steamboat Show
This will be the final show for the Super Fun Steamboat 2015 season. Doors and bar open at 7:30 p.m. We’ll have two dancer groups — the Jasmir Belly Dancers and Steamboat Dance Theatre — and the special guest interview will be with State Rep. Diane Mitsch Bush. The cast will also perform a conceptual comedy skit in which they won’t know their final lines until director Todd Danielson provides them. Tickets are $10 and are available at chieftheater.com or at All That. 813 Lincoln Ave.

Steamboat Dance Theatre presents: Modern Dance Master Class
