Ohana grand opening party

A new mountain lifestyle shop featuring locally designed and printed clothing, home goods and local crafts is opening Tuesday. During the grand opening party, $10 from the sale of each $25 T-shirt with this month’s nonprofit partner’s design will go directly to United Way’s Holiday Gift Exchange Market. The logo will be available throughout the month, and $5 from each sale will go to the Holiday Gift Exchange Market. For more information, visit mtnohana.com.

The Chief Players Present: The Best Christmas Pageant Ever



“The Best Christmas Pageant Ever” is a hilarious Christmas tale for all ages. A couple struggling to put on a church Christmas pageant is faced with casting the Herdman kids, who are said to be the most inventively awful kids in history. Witness the mayhem and fun this weekend.

Hand Papermaking Workshop

Using recycled materials, the group will create paper from start to finish. The workshop is for ages 7 through 14. During the workshop, some collage and paper pulp painting will be incorporated into the newly formed paper. At the end of the workshop, each student will go home with 5 to 10 sheets of hand-made paper which could be perfect for making holiday cards, ornaments and gift tags. Sixth annual Hayden Holiday Stroll

Enjoy some old-fashioned holiday spirit with an open house at the Hayden Museum. Warm up with baked treats and cider. There will also be an expanded gift shop with discounts and a book signing with local author Mary O’Brian. Enjoy a wagon ride to the Historic Granary crafters and vendors for holiday shopping, visit with Santa and take part in kid’s crafts. Open to all ages.
