Election forums to be held Tuesday, Wednesday evenings

STEAMBOAT SPRINGS — With voters poised to decide a lengthy ballot in November, the Steamboat Pilot & Today is hosting two forums on Tuesday, Oct. 9, and Wednesday, Oct. 10, at The Steamboat Grand.

Where: The Steamboat Grand, 2300 Mount Werner Circle

The annual forum is hosted in partnership with the Steamboat Springs Board of Realtors, Routt County Republicans, Routt County Democrats and the Economic Development Council.

The first forum on Tuesday will focus on candidates, and the second forum on Wednesday will focus on local and state ballot issues. Both events begin with a meet and greet from 5:30 to 6 p.m. where appetizers will be served and a cash bar will be available. The forums follow at 6 p.m.

Questions will not be entertained from audience members during the forums, but residents are encouraged to email potential questions to Editor Lisa Schlichtman in advance at lschlichtman@SteamboatPilot.com.
