Driving fast with two flat tires: The Record for Saturday, Sept. 1, 2018

11:56 a.m. Steamboat Springs Police Department officers responded to a reported theft at a business on the 600 block of Oak Street. A wallet and an iPhone were reported stolen.

3:06 p.m. Officers were called to a report of a fight at a store in the 900 block of Lincoln Avenue. Two men who said they were friends were in an argument.

4:18 p.m. Officers were called to a collision at Tenth and Oak streets. A truck collided with a car. The driver of one vehicle, a 29-year-old man, was arrested on suspicion of driving while under the influence of alcohol and prohibited use of a weapon. The driver also received citations for careless driving and driving with a suspended license.

7:22 p.m. Officers were called to a report of a suspicious vehicle at a business in the 1400 block of South Lincoln Avenue. A vehicle with two flat tires was driving extremely fast in the parking lot. The driver, a 28-year-old woman, was arrested on suspicion of driving under the influence of alcohol and failure to notify police of an accident.

8:24 p.m. Officers were called to a reported disturbance at Fish Creek Falls Road and Amethyst Drive. A man was reportedly yelling at a woman. The 41-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of driving under the influence of alcohol.
