8:16 a.m. Steamboat Springs Police Department officers were called to a report of theft at a hardware store in the 2100 block of Curve Plaza. Some items were discovered missing when the store did inventory.

12:18 p.m. Officers were called to a report of a stolen license plate.

4:36 p.m. Officers were called to a report of a man who ran in front of a car in the 800 block of Oak Street. The man was acting strange, and the person who called suspected the man might be on drugs.

5:24 p.m. Officers were called to a report of a car keyed in the 1600 block of Shadow Run Frontage.

6:59 p.m. Officers were called to a report of a theft in the 300 block of Old Fish Creek Falls Road. It was a civil dispute over ownership of a cat.

11:18 p.m. Officers were called to a report of a disturbance at a hotel in the 2200 block of Village Inn Court. It involved a family. No one wanted to pursue charges. A woman involved got a different hotel room for the night.
