Police, fire and ambulance calls

1:06 a.m. Steamboat Springs Police Department officers were called to a report of a disturbance in the 1700 block of Timothy Drive. It involved a mother and daughter.

5:52 a.m. Officers were called to a report of harassment at a hotel in the 2300 block of Mount Werner Circle. A man who had been told not to return to the hotel called the hotel repeatedly and threatened to file a lawsuit. Police called the man and told him to stop.



7:29 a.m. Steamboat Springs Fire Rescue firefighters were called to help someone with a medical problem in the 1300 block of Morgan Court.

8:23 a.m. Officers were called to a report of a suspicious incident in the area of Pine Street. A woman said her son had been shot with a BB gun. Police contacted the students involved at Steamboat Springs High School.



9:57 a.m. Steamboat firefighters were called to help someone with abdominal pain in the 300 block of Fourth Street.

1:08 p.m. Yampa Fire Protection District firefighters were called to help someone with a medical problem at Yampa Town Hall.

1:14 p.m. A person came to the police department to report a phone scam.

1:18 p.m. Officers were called to a report of a burglary in the 500 block of Lincoln Avenue. Someone broke into a food storage building behind a restaurant. Crab legs and other meat were missing.

2:05 p.m. Officers were called to a report of a car that drove into a bank building in the 2200 block of Curve Plaza. The driver said she accidentally hit the gas pedal instead of the brakes. She was taken to Yampa Valley Medical Center with back pain.

2:33 p.m. Officers were called to a report of an ongoing problem with loose dogs in the 400 block of Willett Heights Court. A man defended himself from one of the dogs by throwing a hammer at it. The dog was fine, and citations were issued to the owner of the dog.

5:19 p.m. Officers were called to a report of a sow and two bear cubs in the 500 block of Laurel Street. They went up a tree.

5:38 p.m. Officers were called to a report of a family disturbance in the 1400 block of Pine Grove Road.

6:23 p.m. Officers were called to a report of a suspicious incident in the 400 block of Grand Street. Someone saw a dog take a loaf of bread from a home. The dog had ransacked the home.

6:28 p.m. Steamboat firefighters were called to help a sick person in the 2800 block of Eagleridge Drive.

6:38 p.m. West Routt Fire Protection District firefighters were called to help a person with a head injury at Hayden High School.

7:48 p.m. Officers were called to a report of moose making a lot of noise in the 300 block of Apple Drive. They wandered off.
