Police, fire and ambulance calls

7:48 a.m. Steamboat Springs Police Department officers were called to a report of a man flipping people off at Mount Werner Road and South Lincoln Avenue.

8:04 a.m. Steamboat Springs Fire Rescue firefighters were called to help with a crash near mile marker two on Routt County Road 129.



9:04 a.m. Officers were called to a report of a man flipping people off and yelling in the 600 block of Lincoln Avenue.

9:50 a.m. Officers were called to a report of a person who lost a watch at a hotel in the 2200 block of Village Inn Court.



11:57 a.m. Officers were called to check on the welfare of a student at Steamboat Springs High School.

12:03 p.m. Officers were called to a report of a woman who stole about $45 worth of cosmetics at a grocery store in the 1800 block of Central Park Drive. She was given a summons to appear in court.

12:33 p.m. Officers were called to a report of a person driving erratically at the Gondola Transit Center. A 26-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of DUI and careless driving.

12:53 p.m. Officers were called to a report of a man screaming profanities at Sixth Street and Lincoln Avenue.

1:42 p.m. Officers were called to a report of a suspicious person at the Fifth Street Bridge. A man was seen walking on the bike path with what appeared to be a pellet gun. He could not be located.

2:50 p.m. Officers were called to a report of a driver who almost hit someone and was driving erratically at Cheyenne Court and Steamboat Boulevard. The driver could not be located.

5:04 p.m. Officers were called to a report of a drunken driver in the 1400 block of Pine Grove Road. A person came into a business smelling like alcohol and then drove away in a truck. The truck could not be located.

5:29 p.m. Steamboat firefighters were called to help with a crash at Routt County Road 14 and Colorado Highway 131.

6:31 p.m. Steamboat firefighters were called to help a person having a seizure in the 1700 block of River Queen Lane.

6:36 p.m. Steamboat firefighters were called to help a man having a heart attack at a restaurant in the 1400 block of Pine Grove Road. The 85-year-old man died.

8:48 p.m. Officers were called to a report of a person snowmobiling at Après Ski Way and Val D’Isere Circle. The driver could not be located.

8:53 p.m. Officers were called to a report of a drunken driver in the 2500 block of Village Drive. A man was seen vomiting in the parking lot. He cleaned snow off his car and drove away. He could not be located.

10:36 p.m. Officers were called to a report of a disturbance between two roommates in the 300 block of South Lincoln Avenue.
