Police, fire and ambulance calls

8:04 a.m. Steamboat Springs Police Department officers were called to a report of two cars that had been parked on Little Moon Trail overnight. Warnings were issued.

8:36 a.m. Officers were called to a report of a tire chain on the road at Third Street and Lincoln Avenue. It was picked up.



8:38 a.m. A man came to the police department to dispute what someone had reported.

10:22 a.m. Steamboat Springs Fire Rescue firefighters were called to help a person who was injured while sledding in the 2500 block of Village Drive.



1:08 p.m. Officers were called to a report of cars blocking traffic in the 100 block of 11th Street. There were several other similar reports during the day due to the snow.

1:34 p.m. Officers were called to a report of an expensive watch stolen from a hotel room in the 2200 block of Village Inn Court.

1:45 p.m. Steamboat firefighters were called to help a person with chest pain at a hotel in the 2300 block of Mount Werner Road.

1:59 p.m. Officers were called to investigate the death of a 24-year-old man at a hotel in the 1000 block of Walton Creek Road. No other information was available.

2:42 p.m. Officers were called to check on a car that went off the road in the 2900 block of Alpenglow Way.

4:49 p.m. Officers were called to a report of a person who lost a Texas driver’s license at the Steamboat Ski Area.

5:21 p.m. Officers were called to check on a young child walking on the road near Critter Court and 13th Street.

5:59 p.m. Oak Creek Fire Protection district firefighters were called to help with an unattended death in the 200 block of East Main Street.

6:35 p.m. Officers were called to check on the welfare of a woman’s son in the 700 block of Walton Pond Circle. The son did not live there and could not be located.

6:59 p.m. Officers were called to a report of harassment in the 900 block of Merritt Street. Neighbors were having a dispute over where snow should be stored.

7:22 p.m. Officers were called to a report of a car being driven all over the road in the 1900 block of Pine Grove Road. It could not be located.

11 p.m. Officers were called to a report of a drunken roommate causing a disturbance in the 2400 block of Lincoln Avenue. The roommate had a warrant and was arrested.
