Police, fire and ambulance calls

3:50 a.m. Steamboat Springs Police Department officers were called to a report of a suspicious person in a home in the 500 block of Gilpin Street. A man entered the wrong residence, took a blanket and left.

10:11 a.m. Oak Creek Fire Protection District firefighters were called to a report of a possible fire in the 100 block of West Virginia Street. Firefighters found that an electrical outlet got hot, but there was no fire.



1:24 p.m. Officers were called to a report of a purse taken from a car in the first block of East Maple Street.

4:31 p.m. Officers were called to check on the welfare of a suicidal person.



5:34 p.m. Steamboat Springs Fire Rescue firefighters were called to help a person with a medical problem in the 1400 block of Pine Grove Road.

7:07 p.m. Oak Creek firefighters were called to help a person with a medical problem in the 23100 block of Schussmark Trail.

7:30 p.m. Officers were called to a report of a woman who said her phone was missing from her car at the Howelsen Ice Ring. The woman called back to say she found the phone in her car.

11:36 p.m. Officers were called to a report of a missing person in the 3600 block of Lincoln Avenue. A man borrowed a friend’s truck and never came back.
