Police, fire and ambulance calls


5:26 a.m.
Steamboat Springs Fire Rescue firefighters were called to help a person with a medical problem in the 400 block of Tamarack Drive.

9 a.m. Steamboat firefighters were called to help a person who fell in the 37500 block of Saddle Mountain Drive.



9:07 a.m. Steamboat Springs Police Department officers were called to a report of fraud in the 1100 block of Crawford Avenue. A person sold some furniture online and received a check for more than the amount. The person was supposed to send back the change. It was suspected the check was fraudulent.

11:58 a.m. Officers were called to a report of cars covered by snow at Après Ski Way and Val D’Isere Circle. The person who called said it was a nuisance.



12:10 p.m. Officers were called to a report of a man who said his wife’s credit card was being used around town by someone who did not have permission.

2:30 p.m. Steamboat firefighters were called to help a person who fell in the 1100 block of Lincoln Avenue.

2:31 p.m. Officers were called to a report of cars being a traffic hazard at Après Ski Way and Alpenglow Way.

4:20 p.m. Officers were called to check on the welfare of a woman in the 2600 block of Longthong Road. The woman locked her boyfriend out of the residence.

5:44 p.m. Officers were called to a report of an older blue Toyota that ran a red light and cut off a driver at Pine Grove Road and South Lincoln Avenue.

10:29 p.m. Officers were called to a report of a suspicious incident in the 1700 block of Brome Drive. A massage therapist received a text message referencing “a special massage.” The massage therapist wanted it documented.

10:38 p.m. Officers were called to a report of a possible drunken driver. A resident said someone was driving an older Dodge and the wheels were spinning. The car could not be located.

11:03 p.m. Officers were called to a report of a drunken man in the 700 block of Walton Pond Circle.

11:16 p.m. Officers were called to a report of a disturbance at a bus stop on Pine Grove Road. A man, woman and child were on the bus with a puppy. When confronted by the driver, the family said it was a service dog. An argument then ensued, and the man got physical with the driver. The woman, dog and child were given a ride home. The man was given a ride to work and cited for disorderly conduct.

11:58 p.m. Officers were called to a report of screaming, banging sounds and foul language at a hotel in the 3100 block of South Lincoln Avenue. Police contacted four drunken men in the parking lot.
