Police, fire and ambulance calls

12:22 a.m. Yampa Fire Protection District firefighters were called to help a person with diabetes in the 400 block of Terhune Avenue.

4:37 a.m. West Routt Fire Protection District firefighters were called to help with a crash on Routt County Road 27. A coal truck hit an elk and then a pickup hit the coal truck. No one was injured.



8:43 a.m. West Routt firefighters were called to help with a crash at the Yampa River bridge east of Hayden. A pickup crashed into the river. One male had critical injuries and was flown to a Front Range hospital. Another male had minor injuries.

9:38 a.m. Steamboat Springs Fire Rescue firefighters were called to help with a crash in the 22700 block of U.S. Highway 40.



12:31 p.m. Steamboat firefighters were called to help a person with diabetes at a hotel in the 2200 block of Village Inn Court.

2:22 p.m. Steamboat Springs Police Department officers were called to a report of a snowboard stolen from a car in the 2900 block of Alpenglow Way.

3:07 p.m. Officers were called to a report of gas stolen from a station in the 500 block of South Lincoln Avenue.

4:13 p.m. Yampa firefighters were called to help an unconscious woman in the 23500 block of Routt County Road 15.

6:13 p.m. Officers were called to a report of a man cussing out employees and customers at a business in the 1800 block of Central Park Drive.

6:20 p.m. Officers were called to a report of a drunken man stumbling around the Knoll parking lot. He was gone when officers arrived.

8:15 p.m. Officers were called to check on the welfare of a man at a bus stop. The man had been riding the bus all day and smelled like alcohol. He was gone when officers arrived.

9:15 p.m. Officers were called to a report of a drunken man who fell in a snowbank and was stumbling around outside Bud Werner Memorial Library. He was gone when officers arrived.

9:57 p.m. Steamboat firefighters were called to help a person who overdosed at Olympian Hall.

10:04 p.m. Officers were called to a report of a person who heard three or four gunshots in the 1600 block of Shadow Run Frontage. Police contacted juveniles who had been setting off fireworks.
