Police, fire and ambulance calls
6:56 a.m. Steamboat Springs Police Department officers were called to a report of a man yelling and flipping off drivers at Pine Grove Road and South Lincoln Avenue.
9:05 a.m. Oak Creek Fire Protection District firefighters were called to help a sick person in the 100 block of West Oak Street.
11:10 a.m. Officers were called to a report of a found driver’s license at Ninth Street and Lincoln Avenue. It was returned to the owner.
12 p.m. Officers were called to a report of $200 stolen from a hotel room in the 3100 block of Ingles Lane.
12:30 p.m. Officers were called to a report of a desk left in the snow in the 400 block of Seventh Street. The property owner was contacted to remove it.

4:31 p.m. Officers were called to a report of a 15-year-old boy who did not want to go to his father’s home. The boy and father later got in a fight, and the 40-year-old father was arrested on suspicion of third-degree assault and child abuse.
6:27 p.m. Steamboat Springs Fire Rescue firefighters were called to help a person with trauma in the 100 block of Fifth Street.
8:06 p.m. Oak Creek firefighters were called to help a person having a seizure in the 200 block of Wild Hogg Drive.
8:33 p.m. Officers were called to check on the welfare of a couple of hotel guests who were highly intoxicated in the 2300 block of Mount Werner Circle. They were fine.
