Police, fire and ambulance calls
10:01 a.m. Routt County Search and Rescue volunteers were called to search for two overdue snowmobilers on Buffalo Pass. Their sleds had gotten stuck, and they spent Wednesday night in the woods. The snowmobilers were located. One had an injury and was partially hypothermic.
1:22 p.m. Steamboat Springs Fire Rescue firefighters were called to help an unconscious person on a bus at Gondola Transit Center. The person was intoxicated and was given a ride home.
2:46 p.m. Officers were called to a report of a suspicious person in the 300 block of Pearl Street. A man was having mental health issues and earlier had walked out of a meeting with mental health officials. The man was located.
3:37 p.m. Steamboat Springs Fire Rescue firefighters were called to help with a gas leak in the 1100 block of Longview Circle. Snow fell off a roof and onto a gas meter. A neighbor turned off the gas.
4:03 p.m. Police received a found driver’s license that had been mailed to the police department.

6:27 p.m. Officers were called to a report of a dog that bit another dog in the 500 block of McKinley Street.
7:09 p.m. Officers were called to a report of a car idling in front of a bar in the 700 block of Yampa Street. It was gone when officers arrived.
7:30 p.m. Officers were called to a report of three males on top of a telecommunications tower at Seventh and Oak Streets. An officer ordered the males to come down but was then dispatched to a disturbance call.
7:35 p.m. Officers were called to a report of a disturbance in the 1600 block of Cornice Court. A father and son were arguing.
11:11 p.m. Officers contacted a suspicious car on Golf Stream Court.
11:24 p.m. Officers were called to a report of loud music and partying in the 1500 block of Skyview Lane. A warning was given.
