Police, fire and ambulance calls
12:09 a.m. Routt County Sheriff’s Office deputies were called to a report of two people trespassing at the Strawberry Park Hot Springs.
1:04 a.m. Steamboat Springs Police Department officers were flagged down by a man who had his skateboard stolen from him on 11th Street. The man loaned the skateboard to another man he didn’t know and let him test it out, but the other man didn’t return with the board. Police caught up with the man who took the board and retrieved it. The man who had the skateboard stolen from him did not want to pursue any charges.
1:56 a.m. Officers were called to a report of a suspicious vehicle in the 1100 block of Lincoln Avenue. Everything was OK.
9:39 a.m. Officers took possession of several lost and found items from City Market. The items included several wallets, visas, 10 credit cards, checks and cell phones.
10:42 a.m. Officers were called to a report of a man who had broken up with his girlfriend and needed to get his stuff back from her. Police were unable to contact the girlfriend.

1:54 p.m. Officers were called to a report of a Volkswagen Jetta that had significant damage done to it in the 2600 block of Burgess Creek Road. Police determined a bear had ripped the back bumper off of the vehicle and tried to get into the car through the front door. There were claw marks and paw prints on the front door.
3:32 p.m. Someone called the police to report a driver in a white pickup was driving like a maniac at Pine Grove Road and South Lincoln Avenue. Officers were unable to locate the vehicle.
3:48 p.m. Officers were called to a report of a woman who significantly damaged a home in the 2900 block of West Acres Drive. Police said the woman was upset that her landlord did not return her security deposit, so she used a metal shovel to break a glass door at the residence. She also allegedly put several holes in the walls of the home. Police said she stopped after she said she was satisfied she had caused about as much damage as the security deposit was worth. The woman was arrested on suspicion of criminal mischief.
5:21 p.m. Officers were called to a report of someone who lost a phone and wallet at Safeway.
8:43 p.m. Officers were called to a report of a woman who found a bag with a handgun in it in her driveway in the 3300 block of Columbine Drive. Police determined a man who lived in a neighboring unit dropped it in the driveway by accident while he was loading things into his vehicle. The gun was returned to the owner.
