Police, fire and ambulance calls
12:41 a.m. Steamboat Springs Police Department officers were called to a report of unidentified males who were loitering around a woman’s home in the 3000 block of Apres Ski Way when she came home. The woman wanted the police to make sure the people had left. The individuals were gone when officers arrived.
7:28 a.m. Officers were called to a report of a juvenile bear way up high in a cottonwood tree at Fourth and Pine streets. The caller was concerned the bear was stuck in the tree. The bear was not stuck because it made its way down and was gone before officers arrived.
9:50 a.m. Steamboat Springs Fire Rescue emergency responders were called to a report of a car crash at mile marker 145 of U.S. Highway 40.
12:15 p.m. Officers were called to a report of an animal bite at the animal shelter.
7 p.m. Routt County Sheriff’s Office deputies were called to a report of someone who was being harassed in Yampa.

7:06 p.m. Officers were called to a report of a bear getting into trash in the 300 block of Pine Street.
9:14 p.m. Officers were called to a report of a drunken man stumbling near the intersection at Pine Grove and Mount Werner roads. The caller was concerned because the man was wearing dark clothes and it was hard for drivers to see him. Police contacted the man and determined he was fine.
10:09 p.m. Fire Rescue emergency responders were called to a report of a car crash on Routt County Road 14.
