Police, fire and ambulance calls
1:52 a.m. Steamboat Springs Police Department officers were called to a report of people being loud and playing music in the 400 block of Tamarack Drive. They were given a warning.
7:12 p.m. Routt County Sheriff’s Office deputies were called to a report of a crash near mile marker 128 on U.S. Highway 40. There were 19 other crashes during the day, and no serious injuries were reported.
7:19 a.m. Officers were called to check on the welfare of a depressed woman in the 1300 block of Sparta Plaza. She was taken to Yampa Valley Medical Center.
8:41 a.m. Officers were called to a report of a car that passed in a no-passing zone and almost caused an accident at Curve Court and Lincoln Avenue. The car could not be located.
12:48 p.m. Officers were called to a report of a disturbance at a business in the 2300 block of Mount Werner Circle. A business owner said a person was causing a scene and cursing. The person left after the police were called. The business owner thought the person was upset about a post on Facebook.
12:54 p.m. Officers were called to a report of a vehicle complaint at Tamarack Drive and Mountain Vista Circle. Teenagers were in an Audi that was tailgating, and one of the occupants leaned outside the window to flip someone off. The car could not be located.
2:03 p.m. Officers were called to a report of a drunken man at Pine Grove Road and Mount Werner Circle. The man could not be located.
3:54 p.m. Officers were called to a report of a black car that ran a school bus stoplight in the 200 block of Howelsen Parkway. The bus driver provided a license plate number, but it did not match the description of the car. The car could not be located.
7:17 p.m. Officers were called to a report of a woman who received a suspicious email from her former accountant at a hotel in the 2300 block of Mount Werner Circle.
8:37 p.m. Officers were called to check on the welfare of a man in the 300 block of Ore House Plaza. He could not be located.
9:03 p.m. Routt County Sheriff’s Office deputies were called to a report of a crash near mile marker 128 on U.S. 40. A 35-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of DUI.
11:02 p.m. Officers were called to a report of a drunken driver in the 3100 block of Ingles Lane. There was no damage, and the driver could not be located.
11:56 p.m. Steamboat Springs Fire Rescue firefighters were called to help a person who fell in the 700 block of Tamarack Drive.
