Craig briefs: Colorado parks offer veterans free entry







Colorado Parks and Wildlife is offering free admission to all veterans and active-duty members of the military, military reserve and National Guard to any Colorado state park for Veterans Day, Friday, Nov. 11. Any member of the military forces or veteran can enter any of Colorado’s 42 state parks free of charge, along with his or her companions in the same vehicle. Colorado Highway 9 delays to continue

Traffic impacts can be expected northbound and southbound on Colorado Highway 9 during daylight hours through today, according to a news release.

Motorists can expect one lane of alternating traffic and up to 10-minute delays through the construction zone.

Spring Creek Road and Blue Valley Acres residents are advised to plan for extra time exiting their neighborhoods.
