Couple parked in secluded parking lot warned for public indecency: The Record for Jan. 15, 2018

2:25 a.m. Steamboat Springs Police Department officers found a vehicle parked at River Creek Park and discovered two people inside were “doing things in the vehicle they should be doing in a bedroom.” Police gave out warnings for public indecency.

2:40 a.m. Officers were called to a report of a suspicious vehicle parked in the 700 block of South Lincoln Avenue. Police discovered someone was sleeping inside the vehicle.

6:30 a.m. Routt County Sheriff’s Office deputies were called to a report of an unattended death in Yampa.

2:08 p.m. Officers were called to a report of a woman appeared to be nodding off in the driver’s seat of a vehicle parked at Wildhorse Marketplace. The caller thought the woman might be on drugs. Police talked to the woman, and determined she was fine and just needed to rest for a moment.

5:57 p.m. Officers were called to a report of someone who was getting unwanted text messages in the 500 block of Buena Vista Court.

6:02 p.m. Steamboat Springs Fire Rescue emergency responders were called to help with an elevator emergency in the 2300 block of Storm Meadows Drive.

6:44 p.m. Deputies were called to a report of a vehicle stolen from the 37000 block of Routt County Road 14.
