Tuesday: Beef tacos, fried rice, black beans, cottage cheese, pineapple
Thursday: Baked potato bar, broccoli with cheese, chef salad, peaches, oatmeal blueberry muffin
Friday: Oven-fried chicken, mashed potatoes with gravy, peas, wheat roll, chocolate cake, ice cream
■ Hayden American Legion Hall
Tuesday: Beef tacos, fried rice, black beans, cottage cheese, pineapple
Thursday: Baked potato bar, broccoli with cheese, chef salad, peaches, oatmeal blueberry muffin
■ South Routt Community Center
Monday: Pork roast, mashed potatoes with gravy, broccoli, Italian bread, raspberries, raspberry sherbet
Wednesday: Beef tacos, fried rice, black beans, cottage cheese, pineapple
Friday: Oven-fried chicken, mashed potatoes with gravy, peas, wheat roll, chocolate cake, ice cream
All lunches are served at noon. There is a recommended donation of $3 per lunch for those 60 and older and $6 for those younger than 60. A $30 punch card is good for 10 lunches for seniors 60 and older or five lunches for those younger than 60. Find detailed menus at rccoaging.org. Colorado River restoration project crawls forward as some environmental groups call for radical change
The Colorado River Water Conservation District at a board meeting Tuesday voted to give $1 million of their taxpayer-raised funds to help construct the Colorado River Connectivity Channel, which will improve deteriorated conditions at the headwaters of the Colorado River.
