Corvette car show to rumble through Steamboat this weekend
STEAMBOAT SPRINGS — More than 200 Corvettes — the sleek lines, the horsepower, the prestige — will be on display this weekend during Vettes on the Rockies.
What: Vettes on the Rockies Show ‘n’ Shine
When: 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday
Where: Seventh to 12th streets on Yampa Street
The “Vettes on the Rockies” rumbles into Steamboat Springs on Thursday, and the event runs through Sunday.
The Funkana driving course event starts at 10 a.m. Friday in Meadows Parking Lot, and the Show ‘n’ Shine is from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday on Yampa Street, which will be closed from Seventh to 12th streets starting at 6 a.m.
The free event will bring 201 cars to town with drivers from 18 states.
