Coroner identifies man who died in fire at Kremmling home

The Grand County coroner has released the identity and cause of death for the man who died in a fire at his home in Kremmling. The fire occurred Sept. 18 at River Ranch Mobile Home Park.
The victim was Freddy Barrios Dominguez, 35, of Kremmling. The coroner determined that his cause of death was asphyxiation and carbon monoxide toxicity from smoke inhalation. The coroner also determined that his manner of death was an accident.
The victim is originally from Mexico, where he has two children, according to a GoFundMe page organized by his family. Thanks to community donations, the GoFundMe page raised over $1,000 to assist the family with returning the body back to Mexico and arranging his funeral.
