Combs and Wall

David and Marian Combs of Steamboat Springs are proud to announce the engagement in February of their daughter, Kelda, to Michael Wall, the son of Omaha, Neb., residents Mary and Elmer Wall.

The couple is to be married Oct. 5 at the Perry-Mansfield pavilion in Strawberry Park.

Kelda is a 1994 graduate of Steamboat Springs High School and is finishing classes in elementary education through Regis University this year.

Michael graduated from the University of Nebraska and is a park ranger at Stagecoach State Park. He plans on adopting Kelda’s 3-year-old son, Tatum, and the couple will make their home in Routt County.

Birthplace of modern mountain biking listed for $2.4M

The iconic cone-shaped building on the corner of Yampa and 11th streets in downtown Steamboat Springs was once a wood-waste burner before being moved to become the home for Sore Saddle Cyclery and Moots Bicycles.
