Colorado Group Realty awards outstanding brokers of 2017
STEAMBOAT SPRINGS — Colorado Group Realty presented its annual performance awards Dec. 15, with CEO Steve Goldman reporting on the fiscal performance of the brokerage.
“In 2017, CGR’s production increased to $340 million, making it our best year in the last decade,” Goldman said. “Our deserving award winners not only provided top-notch client satisfaction but also were active in giving back to the community.”
The Top Producer Awards went to the team and individual with the highest total sales volume and transactions. Martin Dragnev was a repeat winner of this year’s individual award for top producer and most transactions, helping almost 60 clients buy or sell homes worth $19 million.
The Paoli Group and the Metzler Team tied for the Top Producing Team Award, with both on track to close $50 million in sales volume. The Paoli Group claimed the award for Most Transactions by a Team, helping 70 buyers and sellers.
The Metzler Team also took home the award for Biggest CGR Charitable Foundation Supporter for their donations, helping the foundation to distribute over $35,000 to 28 deserving local nonprofits this year.
The Broker of the Year award was presented to Tom Valicenti. The honor is bestowed upon an individual who continually goes above and beyond in serving the company and community. Valicenti serves on the CGR board of directors, acts as the building manager, mentors young agents and is active in the community.
“What an honor to be recognized for doing what I love. I’m proud of CGR’s success; it proves that consistently doing the right things pays off,” Valicenti said.
Amy Williams, a Hayden-based CGR agent, received the Hustler of the Year Award for helping 25 clients buy or sell their home while also serving her community.
The Rising Star Award was given to a broker who made an outstanding contribution to the company in a short period of time. Ashley Walcher was the 2017 recipient.
Finally, a Lifetime Service Award was presented to outgoing managing broker Todd Asbury, who has served in that role for eight years and will remain with CGR. Shelley Stanford will assume the role of managing broker.
Colorado Group Realty is an independent, locally owned real estate firm with 70 agents and two offices in the Yampa Valley.
