Colorado delegates among those who protested RNC rules

According to reports from the Associated Press, a group of delegates, some from Colorado, tried unsuccessfully to force a roll-call vote on the convention rules during the opening day of the Republican National Convention.

Pro-Trump delegates tried to shout down the protesters, and Never Trump delegates chanted “roll-call” vote,

Routt County Treasurer Brita Horn is among the Colorado delegates, and according to the AP, some of those delegates walked out of the convention hall in protest.

It could not be confirmed Monday afternoon whether Horn was among the delegates who objected to the tactics of the rules committee.

Steamboat Today left a message for Horn but has not yet received a return phone call. The newspaper will be following the role of the Colorado delegation at the convention through Horn’s participation.

Follow Horn on Twitter at @britahorn. Horn’s Twitter feed can also be viewed at steamboattoday.com.
