Coffee and a Newspaper to focus on housing

Members of the Community Housing Steering Committee, an advisory committee sanctioned by the Steamboat Springs City Council and the Routt County Board of Commissioners, will be the featured guests at this month’s Coffee and a Newspaper, slated for 7:30 to 9 a.m. Wednesday, Aug. 3, at the Steamboat Pilot & Today offices, 1901 Curve Plaza.
The group has recently recruited community members to serve on four working groups, which will be tasked with analyzing all housing segments through a supply and demand lens, along with the obstacles to housing and potential solutions or opportunities.
Publisher Suzanne Schlicht and Editor Lisa Schlichtman will host the event, which is free and open to the public.
Coffee and pastries will be served.
