CMC OKs tuition increase for 2024-25 academic year
The Colorado Mountain College Board of Trustees met Tuesday and set CMC’s tuition and fees for the 2024-25 academic year.
According to the college, trustees approved an increase in tuition of 4% in line with inflation. The increase equates to an additional $4 per credit hour for in-district students, $8 for in-state students and $20 for non-resident students.
The board also approved differential tuition for nursing and dental hygiene programs and eliminated differential tuition for teacher education, thereby reducing tuition costs for teacher education students by $40 per credit hour.
Additionally, trustees approved a restructuring of student technology fees to charge $5 per credit hour, a 2.3% increase in residence hall fees, and a 7.4% increase in meal plans to partially cover rapidly increasing costs in food services.
