Class Notes for Oct. 30

Christian Heritage School senior Jessi Houston was selected as the Rotary Club’s student of the month for October. Jessi is the daughter of Brian and Christel Houston.

“While taking very demanding academic courses and earning straight A’s, Jessi has managed to act in four high school plays, teaches piano, volunteers at the animal shelter and serves as our resident computer techie,” Christian Heritage School counselor and assistant director Betty Lockhart said.

Jessi told Rotarians that after she graduates from high school, she will apply to colleges near Washington D.C., to seek a major in international science and technology with an emphasis on security.

“Jessi demonstrates the very best qualities of those young people who have been selected for this Rot–ary honor,” Rotary Club Presi–dent Chandler Coyle said.
