Goranson earns

bachelor’s degree

Andrew Yates Goranson of Steamboat Springs graduated from Eckerd College on May 22 with a bachelor’s degree in international business and a minor in Spanish. Eckerd College is in St. Petersburg, Fla. Drew is the son of Jon Goranson and Lindsay Yates. He is a 2000 graduate of Steamboat Springs High School.



Long places at

FFA convention



Courtney Long of the Soroco FFA chapter earned second place for the Diversified Livestock Production-Entrepreneurship Proficiency Award at the 76th State FFA Convention earlier this month in Fruita.

Long received a plaque, a medal and $50 in recognition of her accomplishments.
