Nettleton earns Bachelor of Science

Joshua Nettleton, of Steamboat Springs, received his Bachelor of Science degree in sport and exercise science from the University of Northern Colorado during its fall commencement Dec. 13.

Steamboat residents earn CU degrees

The following students, all of Steamboat Springs, received their bachelor’s degrees from the University of Colorado at Boulder during winter commencement on Dec. 19:

Catherine Cantway, bachelor of arts in cellular and developmental biology; Andrew Duncan, bachelor of science, business — accounting; Shannon Gotchey, bachelor of arts, psychology; Ryan Mills, bachelor of science, business — finance; and Jennifer Wolk, bachelor of arts, English.

Rule named November Student of the Month

Derek Rule, son of Mitch and Debbie Rule of Steamboat Springs, was named November Student of the Month at Pickens Tech in Aurora. Rule, a 2003 graduate of Steamboat Springs High School, was the recipient of the school’s Director’s Scholarship and is enrolled in the collision repair program. He is eligible for the Student of the Year award in May.
