Salzgeber is Rotary Student of the Month

Steamboat Springs High School senior Anya Salzgeber is the Rotary Club’s student of the month. An active participant in Student Leadership and Student Council, Anya is vice president of the senior class. She also mentors a middle school student through Partners in Routt County, is co-commissioner of the Link Crew Program and plays varsity tennis.

“Anya has enthusiastically dedicated the time and energy to becoming a strong leader, an outstanding academic student and a great athlete,” high school teacher Chad Bowdre said.

Christian Heritage School lists honor roll

The following students were named to the third-quarter honor roll at Christian Heritage:

Sixth grade: Emily Heiner, Melodie Houston, Matthew Jones, Aimee Lotz, Chelsea Marie, Daniel Melvin, Scott Powers, Wilber Ranieri and Eric Spahr.

Seventh grade: Leah Berdine, Carly Fox, Cassidy Fox and Hope Scott.

Eighth grade: Molly Parsons and Tate Tellier.

Last chance for Book Fair is Wednesday

Strawberry Park Elementary School’s Spring Book Fair ends Wednesday. The fair, in the school’s media center, is open from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. except for Wednesday, when it closes at 3 p.m.
