A Lincoln Avenue parking lane closure will occur over the weekend for the removal of the traditional holiday lights in the trees on both sides of the main downtown street.
The parking lane of eastbound Lincoln Avenue will be closed on Saturday, April 26, starting at approximately 6 a.m. with crews working from 12th to Third streets. On April 27, the closure shifts to the parking lane going westbound from Third to 12th streets.
The work and closure are expected to be completed around 4 p.m. each day, pending no weather delays.
Only the parking lane will see a moving closure, both travel lanes will remain open through the installation. Steamboat Springs Transit operations will continue as normal during the lane closures.
