City to host NFL Punt, Pass & Kick event







The city of Steamboat Springs Parks & Community Services Department will host the annual NFL Punt, Pass & Kick local competition from 10 a.m. to noon Saturday, Sept. 24 at Steamboat Springs High School, Gardner Field.

The NFL Punt, Pass & Kick program is a national skills competition for boys and girls between the ages of 6 and 15. Girls and boys in five separate age divisions (6-7, 8-9, 10-11, 12-13 and 14-15) compete against each other in punting, passing and place kicking, in a fun and engaging forum.

The city is also looking for volunteers to assist with this event from approximately 10 a.m. to noon Saturday, Sept. 24.
